4baseCare, Wipro partner for precision oncology solutions

New Delhi: 4baseCare, a precision oncology company in India, and IT firm Wipro NSE 1.37 % Ltd. are collaborating to develop precision oncology solutions that will improve the affordability and timely availability of gene-testing reports for cancer patients.

According to a statement released on Monday, the companies will jointly pave the way for cancer patients to gain access to advanced genomic testing at an affordable cost and reduce the turnaround time on test results to almost half. The process takes 30 days, at present. Wipro and 4baseCare will also build a framework of efficient, streamlined, and well-regulated workflows for the development of advanced gene panels.
